Where is there Peace?

Where is there Peace? The shepherds were doing what they did every night – watching the sheep. The night was quiet and peaceful as a single angel told them Christ was born in Bethlehem. Suddenly thousands of angels, if not tens of thousands, broke the peace of that night and sang, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” The Christ child came and the angels proclaim that there is now peace. As I look around I don’t see much peace in this world. Where is this peace?

Christmas Eve
Posted on December 24th, 2005 No commentsChristmas Eve in Sun Prairie was above freezing, which made the snow wet enough to pack. Mom and the boys had fun building a snowman.
We enjoyed a friendly ornament exchange.
A long-standing Christmas Eve tradition is new PJs from Nana and PawPaw.

Sunday School Christmas program introduction
Posted on December 18th, 2005 No commentsSunday School Christmas program introduction Our message this morning spans all of time. We begin with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and the first promise of a Savior. We follow this promise as it travels like a pilgrim through time until it finds its fulfillment in a manger in Bethlehem. Finally, we look at ourselves and all Christians throughout the ages – we are all pilgrims as we travel on this earth waiting for our Savior to return at the end of time.
