Hello again from the Wisconsin Drapers. I’ve just about let March slip by without a Draper’s Diary entry. Here’s a bit of the news from our neck of the woods.

We’ll start with Luke this month as he celebrated a major milestone in his young life; he lost his first tooth!  What a joyous event that was.  He was most happy to add a little tooth fairy loot to his bank because he is always saving his money for something. His latest acquisition was a 3-D bulldozer puzzle – very cool! The other big event this month for Luke was he and his Dad played violins together for kindergarten show and tell. You’ll see a photo of them below.  Hopefully this is the start of a neat tradition.

Speaking of playing instruments, Stanley also played a “concert” on piano at a nursing home where Kevin coordinates worship services.  He did a great job and the residents just loved his music.  Stanley also participated in the Pioneer pine car derby and won a certificate for best imagination for his rattle snake car.

Benjamin, Kevin and Sallie have been staying busy with too many activities to remember.  We all enjoyed a quick visit with Kevin’s parents in mid-March. Also Sallie enjoyed a weekend women’s retreat, filled with singing, Bible study and lots of food and fellowship.

We close with a request for your continued prayers for Sallie’s sister, Debbie, as she battles cancer. May God bless and keep you all safely in the palm of his hand!

We all enjoyed working on this beautiful puzzle.  Notice Luke’s smile – minus one tooth!
