Raspberry season has arrived in Wisconsin! Yum! We have enjoyed four “dump” cakes from our bounteous crop of three different varieties of raspberries in our back yard. What a blessing. An even better blessing is the fact that we got to share them with some pretty special people. We had visitors this month, which is always a treat. Kevin’s parent’s, Jack and Judy, swung into Milwaukee on July 11th – Jack’s birthday, no less! We were so thrilled to have them for a few days. They also visited Michigan and attended a family wedding during their trip. They are always finding ways to stay busy! After their visit, we were so happy to spend an evening visiting with Janet Liebenow and two of her sons, Jason and Matt. They are our dear friends and former pastor’s family. We have to send along our best wishes electronically to Pastor Liebenow and Ben, their other son, as they were at home in Michigan and missed out on the visit (and the raspberry dump cake).

Luke’s big news this month is that he learned to ride a two-wheeler. No more training wheels! Click here for video coverage of the big event.

Jack and Judy managed to kidnap our oldest, Stanley, for a week and a half of Texas fun at Boot Ranch. We’re heading south to claim him tomorrow! Yippee! Kevin will preach at Atonement in Plano this Sunday (7/25). The 26th is Stanley’s 9th birthday and he is looking forward to celebrating with Texas grandparents in the morning and Mississippi grandparents by evening. What more could a boy ask for.

We’ll close with just a few pictures and our best wishes to you all.
