December 11, 2004 – It’s Christmas time again. We rejoice as we pause to celebrate the greatest gift of all, the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Glory to God in the highest!

Our year has been filled with blessings from our heavenly father. Kevin continues his Seminary preparation to serve as a full time minister. His classes are wonderfully challenging. His practical experience was greatly increased this year as he had the opportunity to preach God’s Word in several pulpits.

Sallie had a challenging year, adjusting to being a full-time working Mom for the first time in 8 years. The rewards have been wonderful because God has given her the opportunity to assist in his kingdom by working on the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) Web site, Working at the Synod Administration Building also includes great fringe benefits – the joy of getting to know many incredible co-workers in Christ.

2004 was the year of Vision Therapy for Stanley. It was not always the most fun and it took a big time commitment, but he is definately enjoying the rewards for his hard work this school year. We all recognize dramatic improvements in his reading ability, which is having a positive affect on all of his studies. He is currently reading the Lord of the Rings series. He also is making great progress with his piano lessons, a joy for Mom & Dad to listen to!

Luke is a first grader, busy learning to read. So far this fall his class has studied the ocean and nocturnal animals. He is improving and learning many new things on the violin, with only three more songs to go in Suzuki Book 1!

Benjamin is enjoying both Preschool and daycare at Bethlehem school. He is writing his name and coloring with great style! He enjoys library story time and swimming at the YMCA.

This year we took a summer trip south to both Texas and Mississippi and had several camping adventures. We also enjoyed visits from Kevin’s parents, and Kevin and Sallie made a trip to Arizona for a conference this fall. We will celebrate Christmas quietly at home this year, with our boys participating in the church Christmas Eve service.

We pray each of your celebrations is filled with the eternal life-giving love of the Savior – born humbly, punished completely and living triumphantly!
